Owner Responsibilities:
Please note that due to the current Global Pandemic we have taken specific actions when preparing Hayden Lodge for our visitors, in an endeavour to best safeguard everyone’s health and well-being. Subsequently, when cleaning the lodge following our guests stay, we take the following precautions:
Staff wear appropriate PPE whilst cleaning the property, to minimise the risk of infection or contamination to the property. This includes the use of hand sanitiser on entering Hayden Lodge.
All vacuums used are emptied and washed following each clean of the property, to avoid contamination.
Hayden Lodge will be well ventilated following each check-out, during the cleaning process.
Linens will be washed at high temperatures and safely stored between use.
Pillows, duvet, mattresses, sofa, chairs & curtains will be sprayed with SurSol Fabric and Upholstery Sanitiser.
For your reference, we have subsequently increased cleaning measures to include disinfection of surfaces paying attention to all touch points including and not limited to:
– door handles
– light switches
– key & key box
– plug sockets
– lamp switches
– heating controls
– shower controls
– taps
– oven controls
– remote controls
– bins
– information folder
– hair-dryer
– window latches and
– toilet flushes.
A range of cleaning products is provided within Hayden Lodge, should guests wish to undertake any specific cleaning during their stay.
All of our cleaning actions have been informed by the ‘Cleaning Protocols for Self-Catering Properties and Short-Term Lets in the Context of Covid-19’ document, published by the Association of Scotland’s Self -Caters (ASSC).
Guest Responsibilities:
As we are endeavouring to ensure the safety and well being of all of our guests, we ask our guests to be considerate of the health and well-being of others.
We have endeavoured to clean & disinfect Hayden Lodge to the best of our ability therefore we suggest that our Guests undertake any further caution or cleaning as they deem fit, as we are not in a position to scrupulously clean & disinfect everything following each departure.
Hand sanitiser is provided within Hayden Lodge for guest use, in an endeavour to minimise the risk of contamination.
Subsequently we kindly ask that you adhere to the Governmental Social Distancing Guidance, as it is at the time of your visit.
Where by only 1 room is used during your stay, we ask that you close the door on bedroom 2 upon arrival, to reduce contamination.
Guests should open windows during their stay, to support ventilation when appropriate to do so.
Guests should not proceed with any visit / stay if they are feeling at all unwell, or are displaying any signs of infection.
Guests should avoid having any visitors to Hayden Lodge during their stay.
On departure you are asked to strip all beds (including mattress & pillow protectors) and place the used linen in the provided laundry bag, which is located within the cupboard in the shower room.
