Welcome to Hayden Lodge, ‘oor Heilan Hame‘ (our Highland Home).
We have been regular visitors to the Aviemore area for about 30 years. However, following a stay at Boat of Garten Holiday Park, it left such an impression, that the following week we returned to purchase ‘Hayden Lodge’.
We subsequently expect it to have a similar impression upon our visitors.
Everything for your Highland retreat is literally on your doorstep (a short walking distance) at this location:

- Village shop (& Post Office)

- Bike hire (to name but a few).
There is direct access to cycle, bus & train access, supporting your wider exploration of the ‘wonderment’ of the Cairngorm National Park, and its array of visitor attractions available throughout the year. For example:
- Loch Garten Nature Reserve & its dedicated Osprey Visitor Centre is 2.4 miles away.
- Landmark Forrest Adventure Park is 4.2 miles away.
- Aviemore is 6.1 miles away, whilst
- Loch Morlich and its range of watersports is 12 miles away.
- And if you fancy ski-ing (when the snow arrives), it’s approx 15 miles to the slopes.
Subsequently, it’s an ideal location whether you want a quiet or active break, and for singletons, couples, friends & families.
Hayden Lodge is a 2020 edition & offers a sophisticated twist of style and decor, including provision of an en suite bathroom and a further double shower room. There are 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4, with a double sofa bed in the living area allowing accommodation for up to 6. It has a well thought out kitchen / dining / living area to accommodate plenty space for cooking, dining (for 6) and relaxing. There’s a large decking area to the front, with views across to the fields & hills where you can lounge and enjoy the peace. There’s also a patio area at the rear for outside cooking / dining. Both outside spaces allow visitors to catch the sun throughout the day.
